HTTPS Now Available in all Blogspot Blogs

Blogger has now brought to all blogs running on their free blogspot.com HTTPS option. This morning as i visited my blog on blogger.com, a notice the availability of the new safe https on my blog. Now you can visit obhiaba blog and every other blog both on the HTTP and the HTTPS encryption which is offered to us free by blogger.com

Before, blogger announced it and many technology bloggers including all famous My Blogger Tricks had issues with it and published posts against it warning people of the danger it might pose to their blog. The major problem was the photos in the blog which definitely would stop showing but blogger.com has fixed it by providing better options for the blogspot.com users.

In case you have not enabled it on your blog, it is very easy to enable just keep on reading. The major advantage of this new upgrade is that, google earlier announced that it will favour blogs with the HTTPS option in their blog more than those with the HTTP. Which will make all blogspot.com websites to rank better than other blogs with the HTTP.

How To Enable HTTPS in Blogspot.com blogs

In other to enable HTTPS in blogger.com blogs all you need to do is go to your settings tab as shown bellow and enable it.

Step 1.

Visit your blog on blogger.com and then head to the settings tab as shown in the photo below

Step 2.

Go to basic settings and clink on enable HTTPS. After enabling it, simple clink on yes in the option which shows auto redirect. This will enable all viewers to view your blog in HTTPS encryption.
